Background

XYD is the first software organization of Zhejiang province listed in Shanghai stock exchange. It is also certified as a Grade One System Integrator in China. Since found in 1996, XYD has been focusing in the IT systems and application software for the banking and financial sector in China. XYD passed CMMI Maturity Level 2 in 2002. And Level 3 in 2003. The R&D Centre was set up in 2011 to leverage on the software applications developed by various business units in XYD to develop its own software product. We provided consulting, training and consulting services to support their journey to ML4 since the second half year of 2011. They were appraised at ML4 in Jan 2013. 

  Because XYD is a leading player in this market segment and has been around for more than 10 years, XYD has developed many core products specifically for the banking and finance market

  Quality standards (e.g. ISO 9000) has been used by XYD since 2000. Staff understands the importance of standard process, and believes  ML3 thinking and actions are considered the minimum  required to control costs and manage risks

  Quantitative management is seen to be the necessary component to increase the control and accuracy of Management decision making  E.g. the company starts to introduce KPI staff evaluation scheme in 2013
